We need more white people to understand this! @k_dirrty
An actual white ally.
we all need to get better at thinking of ourselves like this.
I didn’t wanna have to do this but I have been pushed too far.
See the above word? If you are persons other than the race it is used towards, don’t fucking say it. I dont care if you are quarter black on your great grandmother’s side. I don’t care if your ‘homies’ or ‘sistahs’ say it around you. Don’t do it. And to everyone who feels ‘white people’ or ‘cracker’ are equally as offensive. I need you to shut the hell up. This word has been used for centuries to demean and ridicule my people. It was used when we couldnt have an education and spent long hours in the hot sun working for you. It was used when we were finally freed yet kept under an iron fist. It was used when I was 5 years old and a little white boy didn’t want to sit next to me because I was one. And I will be damned if I hear it referring to another black person again. Its awful, hurtful and shouldn’t be in effect today. White people refers to people who are white, like you call us black instead of ’ African American’? Yeah. Cracker is a food product that happens to be white. Instead of trying to force us back into a game of ‘slave and master’ , check your facts, check your privilege and sit your white ass down.Got a problem? My inbox is open
utism is a poorly-understood neurological disorder that can impair an individual’s ability to engage in various social interactions. But little 5-year-old Iris Grace in the UK is an excellent example of the unexpected gifts that autism can also grant – her exceptional focus and attention to detail have helped her create incredibly beautiful paintings that many of her fans (and buyers) have likened to Monet’s works.
Little Iris is slowly learning to speak, whereas most children have already begun to speak at least a few words by age 2. Along with speech therapy, her parents gradually introduced her to painting, which is when they discovered her amazing talent.
“We have been encouraging Iris to paint to help with speech therapy, joint attention and turn taking,” her mother, Arabella Carter-Johnson, explains on her website. “Then we realised that she is actually really talented and has an incredible concentration span of around 2 hours each time she paints. Her autism has created a style of painting which I have never seen in a child of her age, she has an understanding of colours and how they interact with each other.”
I respect bees more than I respect white men in positions of power
bees make an important contribution to the survival of the human race which makes them the exact opposite of white men in positions of power
You don’t have to be pretty like her. You can be pretty like you.
Self hatred as well and hatred of those that are black with dark skin
steal her style: Ina Garten
denim shirt: woven from Egyptian grown cotton and died with the wildest indigo grown in South Carolina
pearl earrings: gathered from the bottom of the Persian Gulf
tomatoes: picked fresh from the finest gardens in Italy during the winter’s harvest
